Are you thinking of trying www.TimeForLearning.com?

Whether you're a homeschooling parent or not, you and your kids will love it. Right now, they're running a cool incentive program to make it painless to try it.  You can sign up for a FREE 30-day trial!

Already a user?  No worries! That was my situation. They are asking current users to post a candid review on their website, blog, or support group for a credit of $25.00, regardless of the opinion of the reviewer or the content of the review!  That's almost two months' worth of the fee that I pay to use Time For Learning, so I was very glad to do it.

So, what is my opinion?  I love Time For Learning because I use it as an incentive for my kids to do seat work! Yes, it's true. Time For Learning has terrific, fun, interactive lessons for preschoolers on up, and the kids don't even think it's "school."

My younger homeschooler is getting a lot of benefit from the phonics and science, and my older homeschooler loves the vocabulary.  Some examples of the educational and fun content  at Time For Learning:

  • My kids learned about storm safety from an interactive chicken who was trying to avoid being hit by lightning.

  • All of my kids love the vocabulary activities that are in a game-show format.

  • My first-grader is a very auditory and visual learner, and she has special needs. She has been using Time For Learning since before she could read, and she was able to learn Social Studies, science, and other subjects at a higher level than her ability to read and write. I am grateful to Time for Learning for this!!

  • There are fun math games at all levels.

  • My kids laugh a lot while they are doing Time for Learning, and a child who is doing Time for Learning tends to be surrounded by attentive/jealous siblings who are learning without even realizing it!

I also love the fact that parents can adjust their children's grade levels as often as they need.  The monthly cost ($14.95 per kid per month) is very reasonable. I find it to be great value for the price, and I particularly appreciate it on the days I feel overwhelmed or burned out!
